I want a bite of....discounted, free, and varied workouts

Aside from running, I am completely dependent on Groupon, Living Social, and other discounted coupon sites for my work out routine. I live in Los Angeles and I love group exercise classes. I enjoy the community, the challenge of competing against those around you, and the excitement of trying something new. What I don’t enjoy, however, is the cost for these classes. Most yoga studios, spin classes, and other group-based studio workouts charge around $20 per hour for a class. I think this is absurd, especially when Groupon and Living Social are offering daily discounted coupons for various exercise studios in my area. I have been purchasing these coupons, as well as, using the free week specials that many gym and boutique studios offer for years now. With confidence, I can say that I have tried most of the workout studios in my area and that I would be able to comment on the instructors, facilities, and quality of the workouts. I have found a few places and instructors that I have loved enough to go back to and pay the full amount for. Most, however, have not been worth it. Therefore, I will continue to use discounted coupons to keep my body and my finances in shape!

I want a bite of....dancing like no one is watching

Have you ever allowed the power of music to so overcome your entire being that you can't help but completely let go and dance as though no one else was watching? It happened to me last night and if I am being honest, it was not the first time. I do it quite frequently.

I love to dance.
I love to feel the music pulse through my veins.
I love to surprise myself with the moves that seem to naturally flow to my limbs in rhythmic motion.
I love to feel sweat trickle down my back as I burn hundreds of calories on the dance floor.
I love to be so fully involved in dance that when I finally stop and look up, I see a crowd of faces with smiles spread across each one.
I love to surprise people who think that I can't dance.
I love to be so caught up in the moment that nothing else matters but to move my body in a way that feels fantastic.
I love to connect with others on the dance floor and communicate solely with eyes and bodies moving in sync.
I love to throw my head back in joy as I swirl around and around and around.

I love to dance as though no one is watching.

Insatiable appetite for life

I love to taste food. Whenever I am eating with others I always ask them, "can I have a bite of that?" In fact, I do it so often that it has become well known to many that I will ask for a taste of whatever they order. I just want a bite.
This insatiable appetite for new flavors is not simply limited to food. It extends to all areas of life as I want to try, taste, smell, touch, and feel everything. I thrive on new experiences and I seemingly can never get enough adventure.

This blog is a means to document the various bites out of life that I take.
