Aside from running, I am completely dependent on Groupon, Living Social, and other discounted coupon sites for my work out routine. I live in Los Angeles and I love group exercise classes. I enjoy the community, the challenge of competing against those around you, and the excitement of trying something new. What I don’t enjoy, however, is the cost for these classes. Most yoga studios, spin classes, and other group-based studio workouts charge around $20 per hour for a class. I think this is absurd, especially when Groupon and Living Social are offering daily discounted coupons for various exercise studios in my area. I have been purchasing these coupons, as well as, using the free week specials that many gym and boutique studios offer for years now. With confidence, I can say that I have tried most of the workout studios in my area and that I would be able to comment on the instructors, facilities, and quality of the workouts. I have found a few places and instructors that I have loved enough to go back to and pay the full amount for. Most, however, have not been worth it. Therefore, I will continue to use discounted coupons to keep my body and my finances in shape!
